Let’s face it: For most women in America, the thinner they are, the better they feel about themselves. Between constantly seeing new-generation sex symbols as stick-thin women and having only a handful of popular ‘overweight’ celebrities showcased in movies and television shows, it’s no wonder that women of today have a complex that leaves them feeling frumpy when fat.

But we have good news for women carrying a few extra pounds: Men don’t only mind when you’re carrying a little junk in the trunk– They prefer it!

In a scientific study conducted by Men’s Health Magazine (and we’re using the term ‘scientific‘ loosely here), a group of 80 men were shown three photos of women wearing the same outfits with both the same hairstyles and makeup– One of a women considered underweight by the Body Mass Index, one considered to be in the healthy BMI weight range, and one considered overweight. Of the 80 men, less than 5% of them choose the underweight woman as the most attractive. 42% of them chose the woman of healthy weight, but a surprising 53% of men said that the woman above the healthy BMI range was the sexiest.

Instead of covering your curves, start to flaunt them! Here are three reasons our Sexperts think you should get the most bang for your belly:

1. You’ll be a more desired wife
   Since the dawn of time men have been subconsciously choosing wives based on the size of their hips– and the bigger is the better! Bigger hips and thighs are linked to fertility and overall health, which evolution has proved to be a big attraction factor for men seeking a life-long mate.
2. You’re like a drug
   Men wanting to get high don’t need to turn to narcotics to do so– All they have to do is find a curvy woman! MSNBC researchers had men rate how attractive they found women. Their brain scans revealed that the men had a neurological response to curvy women in the same areas of the brain that are stimulated during a response to drugs and alcohol.
3. They’d rather look at a curvy woman than a thin one
   The University of Texas did a study on the history of Playboy’s influence on the print media world. During their analysis of magazine sales, they found that it wasn’t social influence that determined when the magazine sold well, but who was displayed on the cover– Magazines that displayed a curvy woman sold nearly 60% better than covers with thin women, even when the thin woman was a celebrity.

Gwyneth Paltrow is a pretty busy woman. 1. STRETCH!!! …Seriously though, stretch.

3. Get your tan on!
   Okay, so maybe don’t jump into a tanning bed for three weeks (they’re really bad for you), but grab yourself some spray tanner and apply as desired. A fake tan gives the illusion of smoother and more even colored skin, hides unwanted cellulite,  and hides shadows that make you look chunky. Basically they’re a quick and easy way to boost your confidence! And, as we all know, confidence is a requirement to having good sex.
4. Warm yourself up

2. Have her do a little homework

3. Be comfortable with oral sex

UNEVEN BOOBS
This is the most common issue women face, but because most women aren’t willing to talk about it, females think it only effects them. The truth is, every woman in the world has uneven boobs. Every single one of them. The average breasts are quarter of a size different, but women can be up to two cup sizes in difference from the left to the right before doctors consider it an actual medical issue. It’s easy to let this effect your self confidence because we all want to look perfect while naked, but the sooner you realize it’s normal, the faster you can begin being comfortable in your own skin. But what can you do to conceal the issue on a day-to-day basis? Cutlets! Not only is it supposed to be thicker for health reasons (it acts as a barrier to keep out  unwanted bacteria for women), but the pores around your genitals are bigger, making your hair growth down there more naturally thick. If your worried about your thick pubic hair, keep in mind that the person you’re about to take to bed has hair just as thick as yours down there!

YOUR BASEMENT IS PAINTED TWO DIFFERENT COLORS
Ever take a look down there and realize that your skin seems to be different colors than the rest of your body? We know that most single people were scrambling to find action before February 14th, but a new study shows that the smart people weren’t in a rush: People are more likely to find sex in the two weeks following Valentine’s Day than they are to find it on the days leading up to the holiday.

According to Pace University in New York City, nearly twice as many people in North America find new sexual partners between February 14th and 28th than one4s who do between February 1st and 14th.

“There’s an urgency for those looking for love before Valentine’s Day because of the emotional effects that come along with being alone. People who genuinely want to be in a relationship often feel overwhelmed at the thought of being alone on Valentine’s Day for fear that seeing others happy will amplify their sadness,” says Pace professor Karl MacIver. “But that’s not the case for those simply looking to have sex. People who are looking for a strictly physical relationship have a better chance of finding it post-February 14th. The emotional stigma that comes along with the time of year has worn off by this point, and many people who were looking for relationships begin to settle for the idea of sex.”

Simply put: People before Valentine’s Day become desperate to not have the “alone” label on the big day, but people after Valentine’s Day simply just want to get down and dirty.

In a three-year study that lapsed from 2009 to 2012, the university saw that nearly 40% of all the singles who participated in their study showed a heightened interest of finding a romantic match in the first two weeks of February, but only 6% of them showed a higher than normal interest in the later weeks of the month. But those looking for sex was the opposite: People who only wanted to have sexual interactions with others made up of 11% of the singles in the study in the first two weeks, but the desire was seen in a whopping 79% of singles after Valentines.

If you don’t like your job, then this news isn’t going to make that any better: New studies from the University of Montana show that there’s a major link between erectile dysfunction and career related stress.

According to a new research study of men who suffered from chronic ED that spanned over 4 years, nearly 90% of them had something in common that had nothing to do with their physical health: They all hated their jobs.

“People tend to underestimate just what a stressful work environment can do to their physique,” says Jessica Robson, a professor at the Montana school. “Having work-time stress doesn’t only effect you during your 9-5. It forces your body to become accustomed to a higher blood pressure that can effect your sexual performance.”

Not exactly what men want to hear, but the good news is there’s a solution: Yoga.

“We challenged the men who experienced ED as a side effect of an overly stressful lifestyle to spend at least 5 hours a week practicing yoga, and the changes in the way their bodies performed were phenomenal,” said Robson.

According to the study, the advantages that yoga offers to men suffering form ED are greater than most medications prescribed for the problem.

In fact, men not only saw better results from yoga than they did with meds, but they saw longer lasting results. Where medications provided a temporary fix for ED, yoga helped increase the stamina and ability to get an erection for extended periods of time. And not only will it help you last, it will likely make you better in bed. The strengthening and muscle toning that comes along with yoga training allows you to get into positions you otherwise wouldn’t have been able to attempt.

As it stands right now, it looks as though a male friend/fan of Te’O's may have been pretending to be his online girlfriend the entire time, creating an elaborate hoax that roped him into a fake relationship.

How can you protect yourself from getting duped into talking to someone who isn’t who they say they are? Our Sexperts have compiled the biggest red flags for people who are involved in online relationships:

1. Always, always Skype.
Experts say that if they’re not willing to Skypecomputer dating there’s likely something they’re trying to hide, especially if they’ve already sent you photos. “When someone sends you photos but is unwilling to video chat, it’s likely they’re not the people they’re claiming to be. Not having a web cam is not a valid reason: In 2013, everyone has access to the ability to video chat,” says our Sexpert.

2. Do a reverse picture lookup. 
Did they send you photos of themselves? Can you see their profile pictures? Do a reverse photo lookup on Google to see if there are any other matches for those pictures. If you find the images under different names, it’s likely you’re being duped.

3. Research them a little.
So they’ve told you where they work, where they went to school, who their friends are… Look that up a little. On the MTV show Catfish, that’s usually the host Nev’s first clue as to having a liar on the line: Their jobs, friends and hobbies aren’t who they claim to be.

If you cover these bases, you’re likely to find definitive answers as to the validity of your online love.
