In a study conducted by The University of Waterloo in Ontario, Canada, it was found that a majority of men are content with going straight from home plate to the home run. What’s that mean, exactly? 76% of men that participated in the study said that foreplay wasn’t essential to their sexual experience– They were fine with going from a simple kiss straight to intercourse.

With that many men claiming they don’t need oral stimulation to have what they consider to be a pleasant and fulfilling experience, can’t we just skip the foreplay altogether and go straight to jumping in the sack?

According to the makers of the survey, the short answer is no. A big no.

Jennifer Campbell, the lead phycologist in the study at Waterloo, says that skipping foreplay every once in a while when a particularly heated night has you in the mood to go straight to sex, but foregoing foreplay on a regular basis can not only hinder your sex life, but it can actually make you perform worse in bed.
