Celebrities are notorious for going to extreme lengths to lose weight, but it looks like Hollywood has finally found a diet that can satisfy their weight loss wants and their sexual appetite: Having sex! According to a segment recently shot for the Rachel Ray show, stars are foregoing the gym and turning to the bedroom to shed their unwanted pounds.
Intercourse as a means to burn calories isn’t an extremely shocking revelation; people have been getting down to slim down for years. But it’s how the stars are doing it. Fitness experts have developed a new way to incorporate exercise and sex so you’re getting the best of muscle pain and internal pleasure.
So what should you be doing to maximize your calorie count in bed? Our Sexperts have the three tips you need to follow to get your sweat on while getting your sweat on!
- Get your faces apart
Get into missionary position and place your palms on the bed by either side of their head. Then prop your body up on your arms as though you’re doing a push-up, but try to keep your faces apart as much as possible. As you thrust, your body will naturally force you to use your arms to support more of your body weight, and keeping your faces separated will ensure you’re putting as much weight as possible on your arms. Maintaining this position for three minutes burns nearly the same amount of calories as 15 minutes of a fast-pace on the treadmill, and it gets your arms toned! - Speed up!
This is the no-brainer people tend to overlook when they’re in the act: The faster you go, the more calories you will burn! Sex is a cardio exercise after all, so going hard for intervals of two minutes mixed with two minutes of a slower pace and you’ll work off nearly double the calories of a standard missionary session. - The wheelbarrow works wonders
If you’ve ever done the wheelbarrow position, you know it works all sorts of muscles. For the man (who is standing facing the backside of a woman whom has her legs wrapped around his waist), he has to both support the weight of the females legs while keeping her steady, and the female (who is on her hands, face down, with her legs wrapped around the waist of the man standing behind her), has to maintain her supported weight using only her arms. It’s a great work out for both parties, and our Sexperts say it’s a simple way for the man to reach the woman’s G-Spot!
