It may sound silly, but that cell phone you keep glued to your hand may be the best indicator to whether or not you’ll be having  sex frequently!

A study by scientists at Boston University have been trying to prove for years that your number of sexual partners is directly related to your material things, and now thanks to a new study they’ve completed, they’re one step closer to making that a fact!

Professors at the university have found a direct relation between their students sexual habits and the cell phones they use.

They’ve found that at age 22, their average students age, students who own iPhones have an average of 4.3 sexual partners, while Blackberry users have only 3.2, and Andriod users have only 2.3.

Is this because people are more attractive with those phones? Of course not! The scientists that conducted the study say that people who are more confident and outgoing are more inclined to by iPhones. That personally type is naturally more attractive to other people, making it easier for them to attract more partners. More reserved, introverted people tend to by more basic, less involved phones, and prefer to keep their sexual partner numbers on the lower side.

Although the numbers don’t seem drastically different at the average of 22, the differences increase with age. By the time cell phone users reach the older adult age of 40, iPhone users have an average of 15.4 sexual partners, Blackberry users have 12.2, and Android users are left in the consummation dust with 8.3.

So next time you’re out on a date, check out their phone and you’ll get an idea of your chances at getting laid!
