I’ve heard that you can get STD’s even when you have a condom on. Is that true?
Unfortunately, yes. Sometimes even your safest precautions aren’t enough to protect you from the much dreaded STD’s and STI’s. Things like genital warts won’t be covered with a condom, which can transfer to you with contact. What’s your best bet? There are two roads you can take when trying to keep yourself safe against STD’s: 1) Abstinence, which isn’t the funnest option, and 2) Waiting until there’s no flair-up to have sex. Now keep in mind that STD’s can still get transferred when they’re inflamed, but you’re 90% less likely to contract one while they aren’t.
I’ve been having sex for nearly 5 years now, but have never had a burning sensation or a rash. I don’t have to get a PAP then, right?
Wrong. There are certain STD’s like chlamydia and gonorrhea that can lay dormant in you for years before they start to show symptoms. And even worse than that, you could simply have the carrier gene, which means that you will never have symptoms, but you can still pass it along to other people. In order to keep yourself safe, but especially to keep others safe, you should get yourself tested on a regular basis.
Is it safe to use produce as a sex toy?
The ever-lasting ongoing joke is that women have been using cucumbers to masturbate for years. Well, the joke’s on the people telling that joke, because they have! The truth is that it does the same job as a dildo for one-tenth of the price. If you’re going to go down that road, simply make sure it’s a healthy cucumber, it’s thoroughly cleaned, and most importantly, you put a condom on it.
Can you have sex through your entire pregnancy?
An active sex life is actually great for an adult that’s bearing a child! Doctors even suggest doing it to induce labor when you’re close enough to the due date. Just make sure you’re not in a position that will put too much weight on your stomach and you’ll be doing no harm to the baby.
Swallowing semen makes me ill. Can I be allergic to it?
Chances are, like most women, you just don’t like the taste. Ever heard of psychosomatic response? It’s basically mind over matter– Some people think about how much they hate it that their bodies have a physical reaction to it, like throwing up or feeling sick. But for a few unlucky men and women, it is possible for you to have an actual allergy to it. It’s uncommon, but if you are allergic to it you’ll feel symptoms like nausea, pain, headaches, and flu symptoms when its ingested. Since it’s a rather new development (or, more likely, it’s something people didn’t want to talk about their doctors with until recently), there’s no real solution. Just don’t put it in your mouth would be the most logical thing to do!
I’m a female, and a lot of liquid comes out of me when I orgasm. It’s really embarrassing. Is something wrong with me?
If you’re a ‘squirter,’ you should wear that like a badge of honor! When some women orgasm, they have a release akin to a man, letting go up to a liter of unscented fluid. It’s completely natural and, believe it or not, some women actually do exercises to try and squirt! Simply keep a towel on hand and it shouldn’t pose as a problem.
