About Me: Now that I have some free time on my hands I am now chasing the things that I always wanted to do. I enjoy the distinct seasons we have here. I have been shooting film photography since I was in the Navy and am now toying with digital photography. I have been a scuba diver for 18 years and enjoy underwater photography. I play 'at' golf (i.e., I am not very good) and try to get out occasionally. I love music and my iPod is loaded with music; from modern jazz, easy listening, folk, some pop and rock all the way to classical. Everywhere I go my iPod is in the car. This year I decided to get back into snow skiing (better have some snow this year!) after being away from it since the late 80s. I do some traveling throughout the year and always hit the beach near Duck, North Carolina in September and try, as much as possible, to dodge the hurricanes. I have a pretty positive outlook on life and try to have fun every day. I love to have fun and to laugh (that includes at myself, too). I have a good sense of humor and pleasant personality. I enjoy all sorts of activities, dabble at painting, playing at the beach, taking a walk every once in a while, as well as watching movies. I can be completely funny and goofy, and at the same time can sit and talk about anything and important things. I am kind, considerate, and I would love someone to share these "things" with. I am a kind person, who honestly cares about other people. I am someone who can listen, and is gentle and honest, and has a good balance of being funny and being real. I am a guy who knows how to basically treat and respect people. Life is good.
