About Me: You won’t meet me at a bar or a club; I find them too noisy and distracting. You’re most likely come across me walking in the park, along a wooded trail, or strolling along the beach where the water just caresses the sand. I’m not what you might consider your “average” guy, but a guy nonetheless. I don’t follow sports, instead I follow nature. You could say it’s what lead me to my career as a biologist. I’m a naturalist, an outdoorsman, a person who likes to spend time outdoors exploring, observing and learning from the world around us. I enjoy taking trips to preserves, refuges, and study areas to photograph wildlife, to kayak, to camp, to hike and do a little fishing if I have the chance. I also enjoy some of the modern aspects of life. I’m just as comfortable sitting at home watching a movie with a big bowl of popcorn covered by a nice warm blanket or going out for dinner and a movie. If I’m not at the TV you’ll probably find me in the kitchen trying out a recipe I saw on the Food Network.
