About Me: Since my retirement from 32 years of teaching senior high school geography, the completion of my Masters thesis at St. Mary’s University has been just one of many endeavours. Much needed work around the house was done in the year after I retired then I sold it because I simply did not need the space and the utilities and taxes I was paying on spaces I was not using did not make sense. Pardon the pun! Haha. Daily physical training, road bicycle training and reading are also parts of my schedule. This June I will cycle the Ride To Conquer Cancer, a 300km two day ride from Toronto to Niagara Falls. I enrolled in a radio acting/voice over class which presents challenges which was a great deal of fun. Throughout the spring, fall and summer you will find me at Lake Banook and other lakes volunteering as a canoe/kayak official with Canoe Kayak Canada. Whenever possible I love to dine out, use my slow cooker, nude suntan, visit my fav Irish pub, go to concerts and live music shows, and hit the theatre for a film. Would you care to join me on these adventures? But all of that was not enough and I went back to work because I wanted to do something interesting, challenging, fun and worthwhile. Now I have completed my first year of work for Air Canada on the ground crew. So I get to play with big ass airplanes. LOL My next cycling goal is a road cycling timetrial event March 31, San Diego Calif. On my pass I fly return for 50$. LOL
