About Me: moved here 1 year ago. love it here, except for the heat. lived in alaska for 20 years. yep, dangerous catch. i was a crab fisherman for 15 years. lost a lot of friends there. when my best friend was washed overboard and drowned, i figured i was pushing the limit. most people are transient in alaska, but the bonds you form with your friends are as strong or stronger than family ties. i lost most of my close friends there. i've also been afraid to make close friends with many people for fear of losing them also. i need to get past this and the only way is to meet people and take a chance. i'm usually reserved at first but warm up quickly. am quite in tune with the outdoors. love to hike, camp, boating or kayaking, driving in the montains, or to the beach, it doesn't matter. gives me a peaceful, tranquil feeling and renews my respect for ma nature. awesome! here in charlotte, i basically work. come home, cook dinner, watch a little tv, go to bed. BORING! anyway, i'm not gay, very independant, cook, clean pay bills, all by myself!. financially and job wise, secure i'm 5'10, about 150 lbs. physically and mentally fit. green, bedroom eyes. so i've been told. but, i'm balding. so if that turns you off, see ya i'm just your average joe, with a little more worldliness and compassion for life, friendship and trust, than the next person!
