About Me: Hello! Thank you for taking time to read my profile. I was on here about 6 months ago and got to meet a lot of great people. No love connections though. It was a good experience so I decided to give it another try. I moved to KC about a year ago from St. Louis. I love it here. I moved for an amazing job opportunity that has worked out better then I could have expected. It has been a wonderful first year in my new home city. Although I love where I am now I do miss my family and friends back in St. Louis. I have 4 nephews and a niece that are my world. I miss them more than anyone else. I’m lucky that it’s only a few hour drive to get back and I try to do so at least once a month. I had three of my older nephews up the second weekend in June and we went to Oceans of Fun. It was a blast, but SO exhausting!! LOL I have a brother, two sisters and a sister and brother in law. We are a bit dysfunctional and crazy, but I wouldn’t trade my family for the world. My parents have been married for over 36 years now and are still madly in love. I can honestly say they are one of the very few couples that I admire and hope to have they have. I work in higher education and have done so for close to eight years now. I love my job and I couldn’t imagine being in any other industry. I did work in the travel industry for 2 years where I was able to travel the world. The work wasn’t too bad but I lived out of a suitcase for 27-28 days of the month. It was fun while it lasted, but by the end of the two years it was time to do something else. I did get to see a lot cool places and meet a lot of great people along the way. As you can tell from my heading I am a huge soccer fan. I love attending live sporting events. I also enjoy seeing live music, attending wine/beer festivals, seeing movies, reading in a coffee shop, watching bad TV, watching good TV such as The Office and It’s Always Sunny, going to the City Market on Saturday mornings, running/working out.
