About Me: What to say about me... Well, I'm unique in a sense. I'm not your typical 20-something man that you might find around a college campus. I've been around the block a few times (and perhaps some might say a few times too many) in several different meanings of the phrase 'been around the block'. I've seen and done things that most people probably only dream of, and I've experienced life, both good and bad, to be general. Through it all I've become the man that I am today, and with the guidance and support of my amazing family, a -general- belief in God, and the drive to better myself, I think that I've turned out quite alright so far. I can be a bit of a smart ass, and I can come off as arrogant at times, and on the outside looking in without knowing me some might consider me to be an unsavory type of fellow. In reality, I'm the type that loves to laugh and thinks that no one should take themselves so seriously that they can't handle some joking and general tom-foolery. I'm confident enough to know that I'm capable of astounding things therefore I tend to understand why some may consider me to be arrogant. I am respectful to my elders and peers alike, and am a gentleman to women (yes, I -will- open the door for you and call you ma'm. no, chivalry is not dead.). I enjoy a social life and that means that I like to get out of the house a good bit, but I'm not a stranger to staying at home and relaxing.In time I've learned that more than anything I need to be myself for myself, and not let others influence who I really am. I've also been trying to make amends for some of the things I've done (or not done) in the past, and things have been going well. As it turns out, there are quite a few of you out there that are far better friends to me than I have ever been to you, and that is never going to be the case again.All in all, I am ultimately just a man.
