About Me: I enjoy the photography, the outdoors, traveling to new places, and different cultures. I combine these as often as I can in day trips and longer planned trips. When traveling I like to experience the local restaurants, and cultures, not chain establishments. I have lived in Germany for eighteen years, which gave me a chance to experience and travel to many different cultures, and I often return. My love travel had leaded me to plan a three to four year sailing trip around the world. It may only be a dream, but it is my dream. I am not one who likes to watch sports, but would rather participate as much as I can. My mind says I am eighteen, but my body says I am twenty. In reality I am left with long walks on a sunset beach, hikes to a romantic spot, and slow dances. I enjoy cooking, and I am a typical male in doing so. I will use every pot, pan, and dish in the house. I enjoy cooking American dishes, Bar-B-Que, and able to cook some German. However, I do enjoy a movie, romantic dinner, and dancing. I am retired from the military with over twenty years of service. The military was a strong positive influence on values, beliefs, morals, and an important part of my life. I try do what is right regardless how difficult it may be. My life in the military was highly structured, and now I am attempting to be more spontaneous with my free time. I have been known to go to the store and end up on a sunset beach two hundred miles away. There are two things I carry with me at all times, my camera and a travel bag. I have two sons and three grandsons living in Germany, and in the process of spoiling the grandsons as much as possible.
