About Me: I am an older man, but still very young at heart. I have no baggage and no ghosts. I am secure and responsible, and have a reputation for being extremely honest. Up to now I have spent my life managing my career (long story), and am now president/owner of a structural engineering firm that employs 7 people. I have complete freedom and continue to build my reputation for superior quality work and service every day. I have not dated much because, up until December 2007, I could not build a company (7 days a week) and at the same time give a woman the attention she needs. Now my company is stable, and I get to have my life back. I am looking to share it with the woman of my dreams, wherever she might be. I live in a nice house on the west side of KC in Platte County. I love animals, especially cats. (I have a pure-bred Siberian.) I love to design and build things. I work out in the gym at least two days a week going on 2 years; I have been learning how to box for about 1 year. I enjoy walking or hiking, especially in the mountains or tall-grass prairies, or scuba-diving in area lakes and quarries. Got into fly-fishing about 5 years ago -- it is totally fun. (Want to learn how?) I love intense conversations, especially those when good friends get together. I have made movies and I love to writing stories. I have been playing electric bass since age 24 and I taught myself how to write music. I "live and let live". I don't pass judgment and am I quick to forgive. I have faith in people (sometimes gets me into trouble...oh well...) I believe what's past is past and I don't go backwards. I am a good person and I am always trying to make myself better. I look into your eyes when I talk to you. I smile a lot. I have lots of opinions and I always want to hear yours. Friends and family are very important to me.
