About Me: I was a member here a while back, sent out tons of messages and am still waiting for my first reply, so my expectations are not real high. Like my headline says, I'm curious to see if women's manners have improved. Me? I'm just a guy--I work for a living, pay my bills, and drive a car that I'm glad still runs well. I like sports--baseball, football, and yes, NASCAR. I like to cook, even though cooking for one is an interesting proposition. Makes for a lot of meals of leftovers. I like to read, even though my eyes are going to hell. I like to watch NCIS and the USA and TNT original shows. I'm not real current anymore--my favorite music is still from the late 60's and early 70's. But I'm painfully honest and real, een though it's not pretty. I don't drink or use drugs. I'm trying to break a forty-year tobacco habit, and, let me tell you, it ain't easy. But I'll make it or die trying. My health is generally good but I don't get around very well any more. I got a neuropathy in my left leg a few years back and just don't walk well. And even though I may sound like a curmudgeon, I am a genuinely kind, caring and compassionate person.
