About Me: Hey my name is John and I am a college graduate currently working as a Golf Professional in the STL area. I am heading back to school this spring for the one year accelerated nursing program at SLU and finally going to get my career going and get back to doing something I enjoy and that really makes a difference. After graduation I plan to pursue either a nurse practitioner or nurse anesthetist specialty. I was formerly in the 6 year medical program at UMKC right after high school, but being young and stupid decided on having fun and even taking a year off to go back to baseball and pursue a professional career in that. I was just too young and not ready for that kind of academic commitment. The truth is I love medicine and healthcare and I cannot wait to get back into it full time.
