About Me: I hope to meet a unique, free-spirited, non-smoking woman who is their own person. My major life goals: 1. Find a special someone to develop a great partnership – be my best friend, lover, confidante, conscience 2. Travel and discover with her even more from the people and cultures of the world 3. Help and learn from people by working and volunteering with them. I live in Santa Clarita/Newhall, am 6' 1", 175 lbs., Caucasian, non-smoker, MA graduate (Ph.D./ABD), independent consultant for 15 years, social drinker, divorced, liberal, Taurus, with adult babes. Interests: laughing (at myself and with others), other cultures, traveling, learning, motorcycles/biking, nature (camping, kayaking, white water), music, pool, movies, community service, holistic health, yoga, and others??? I've lived, worked, or traveled in 66 countries ... so far and learned to appreciate diverse viewpoints. I’m proud of my Costa Rican son and daughter, and grandson, but they live in North Carolina. I strive to listen and understand others and am open to new ideas. I am impatient with bias’ (race, gender, age, culture, etc.) and Americans who don’t appreciate how fortunate we are. I enjoy being outdoors, but moved from Florida last year, so I need a partner to go exploring. I’m a vegetarian who doesn't care what others eat, but prefer to be with those who are at least health-conscious. What do you think?
