About Me: I am a very happy, free-spirited, energetic and easygoing guy living happily and confidently in the very small world that is Delaware. I am extremely independent and confident in my work but also value my free time to enjoy the outdoors as much as possible, whether it be a run through the park with my dog, a hike or bike ride through the country or just a nice walk around the neighborhood...life in DE can get pretty boring sometimes, so I'm always looking for a new adventure...Hiking, kayaking, running...have done a few marathons (the last one in Ireland...simply amazing) and am now planning & training for a half marathon out west in Oregon in the fall. When it comes down to it, simple good conversation with new and interesting people makes it for me...it truly is the best way to enjoy and get the best out of life. If I can kick back, enjoying my time talking and listening, laughing and smiling about all things from Peanuts (so many lessons in such a simple comic strip) to politics (I read the paper & watch the world news, being the Daily Show) to good books and all types of music. I'm the youngest in big Irish family, so you could say I can hold my own in marathon conversations, but I have to say that I pride myself on being a patient, open and understanding listener at all times. I like to go out to the bar with friends once in a while to tie one on but just as much I enjoy just staying in with a few good friends, good wine and good food.
