About Me: A start... I am warm and curious, silly and fairly perceptive. I feel lucky to have found work that suits my strengths, but am not all about my career these days. Germany was home for 6 years, an experience that gave me a strong connection to European lifestyle, esthetics and history (and an appreciation for serious vacations!) I love a house full of people. Singing in the car. Morning coffee on the porch. Good live music (concert halls or a dive bar.) A long meal filled with good stories. A swim before dinner. Chocolate souffle. A day of reading. Italian architecture. Joni Mitchell. Rolling Stones. Stevie Ray Vaughan. Most any body of water. The News Hour. Laugh lines. My friends are an eclectic bunch, business and creative types, funny and warm, with a bit of edge at times. They would tell you I pay attention and have a great capacity to give, provide support and make them laugh. I really like to balance clan time with time alone (and am probably more shy than it may seem.)
