About Me: Once you get past the self-deprecating humor, you will soon learn that I'm a raging egomaniac. Nah, that's not true, either. How do you just say that you're a nice, successful guy looking to share his life with his future soul mate? I guess that would do it. I'm the proud dad of a 12-year old girl and my wife and I are in the midst of a divorce. I recently moved into the Tampa area and am excited to meet some good people on here. Friendship is not at all out of the question. It's welcomed. My job isn't glamorous -- I'm a lead developer for a major software company -- but it pays well, and I love the challenge of the work and being able to telecommute on a regular basis. I'm not married to my work, and even when I was actually married, I found time to earn a black belt in Kenpo (yes, nice guys can kick ass!), sci-fi, action, and Pixar movies (yeah, I loved Wall-E and had a nerdgasm over the new Start Trek) and the occasional off-road biking excursion (nothing like a little time alone to recharge your batteries). Things are different now, but I look forward to taking some chances and seeing who's out there.
