About Me: I'm newly single (wife ran off a few years ago--finally made it official.) in a very small town...many of you know how that is! Have truck, will travel! I'm the silent type at first and I believe in old-fashioned courtesy. I open doors for women and genuinely enjoy the diverse reactions I get. I'm kind of a nut after I open up. I tend to have too many projects going on at the same time. I have too many cameras. I like to wear a suit, but hardly ever do. I'm trying to change that, so if you know of any good excuses for me to wear a suit, please let me know. I read compulsively, work out religiously, and cut my own hair close to the scalp because I'd rather spend money on a nice bottle of wine or a new book than on a barber. Plus, I'm just never sure what to do with hair. Hack it off, I say. No offense to barbers.... I'm a former Marine, so it's my natural style. I have a parrot and a dog, and while they're nice enough, they just aren't cutting it on the companionship thing any more! OK, the parrot is growing on me. I've "mourned" for a couple of years now, and the futility has finally sunk in; time for some fun and friends! My baggage is most definitely left at the door. Somebody else's door--I left it, rang the bell, and ran like a thief.
