About Me: I've been thinking about what to write here long enough. It's time to actually put it in print. All sorts of things went through my head as I sat here staring at this page. Things about how I wanted this message to make me sound. I wanted it to make me appear confident, but not arrogant; fun, but not a party dog; vulnerable, but not needy. In short, I wanted it to make me appear perfect. What a joke! I'm nowhere near perfect, nor am I looking for perfection. So instead of this thing making me to appear to be something I could never be, how about we just deal in truths? I'm an up-front kind of guy. I like to know where I stand and people never have trouble knowing where they stand with me. Reading between the lines is not my forte. If you want me to know something just tell me, even if I'm not going to like it. My light-hearted and good-natured personality often leads me to being the life of the party. The Marine Corps helped solidify the importance of some of my fundamental beliefs ... things like honesty, faithfulness, pride, honor. Those words have become the mantras of my life. That being said, it should also be known that I'm certainly not afraid of a little spontaneity.
