About Me: I am focused, intense, driven yet a fun and relatively happy person. I consider myself to be a realist... I accept life for what it is and I’m accepting of others for who they are as long as they are not hurtful, destructive, addicted to drama, or disrespectful of their own or others mental and physical well-being and I’m growing increasingly particular of whom I do and don’t want to share my time with. I have a lot of good friends that I spend time and do things with regularly and I like to stay busy and learn new things. It’s important to me to be active and productive, but I can also just chill out and relax at home. I don’t have to be constantly busy and on the run as I am comfortable in my own skin…I’m not running away from anything and I realize that quality down time is a healthy part of a balanced life. Others have told me I am intelligent, have a good sense of humor, open minded, easy to have a conversation with, responsible, caring, respectful, appreciative, open to trying new things and that I like to have fun. I enjoy the things that most people enjoy...great music, great food, interesting travel, theatre, museums, day trips, and lazy Sunday mornings with the online morning paper and a good cup of coffee. I am successfully employed in a career I’ve worked for over 20 years and I am confidently self-sufficient...I clean my own house, do my own laundry, and cook my own food. I am not looking for someone so I can be “taken care of” by any means, but I'm open to meeting new friends to date if the chemistry, mutual attraction and common interests are there.
