About Me: I am a successful physician-businessman and medical software designer. I am also an economist and photographer. I like to read and love learning new things. I love classical literature and poetry. I am very interested in science and try to keep up with new discoveries by reading about the latest advances. I am also a writer and an avid photographer and also own an art photography business which has sold some of my photographs For me, life is about the pursuit of truth and beauty. I have tried to do this in my writing and my photography. I love cats and have started a tax exempt foundation, Sophies House Feline Rescue, named after my grandmother who also loved cats I am athletic and love water skiing, snow skiing and scuba diving. I work out every day at a gym (weights and aerobics) and appreciate a woman who takes care of her appearance and keeps in shape. Politically, I am a libertarian, meaning I believe in individual freedom, small government, low taxes, free market capitalism with minimum government regulation, legalized drugs (personally, I do not use any currently illegal drugs and have no interest in doing so, so this is a philosophical position only) and no restrictions on what consenting adults freely agree to do. I think the only legitimate business of government is protection of life and property - period. It should not take from some and give to others and should not legislate morality or be a father, mother, or nanny to its people. I have started a tax exempt foundation to promote these ideas and foster economic literacy among high school and college students. I have personally taught classes in economics at the senior high school and college level (I have studied economics and mathematics at UCLA for several years at the graduate level).
