About Me: I like good music (classic R & R, blues, progressive rock [ Yes, Genesis, Pink Floyd, etc]) and outdoor activities. I enjoy hiking trails, camping, star gazing, and some sports ( football, yeah!, and snow skiing). I also enjoy some women's sports : gymnastics and fast-pitch softball come to mind. I used to be really into climbing. I'm still intrigued by it. But I'm not sure my body can handle what it used to be able to. My perfect night out would most likely involve music in some way (even if it's just attending a good concert). I want to add I do have a B.S. degree in Computer Science, and a real interest in Physics. I took a fair number of Physics courses in the course of getting my undergrad degree. I feel I've had enough to qualify to go straight for a grad degree in Physics. I've spoken to Clemson about it, and they've encouraged me to go for it. Money is a big issue though. If I can't find assistance, I won't be able to go back to school.
