About Me: Second Generation College educated first son (have a sister and a brother) of a WWII Vet (hero - Bronze Star, GI Bill) from the backwoods of Maine and a Mass girl. Got BS in Aero Eng. and worked for 30 years in our nations space programs. Worked on all three coasts, Atlantic (Kennedy), Pacific (Vandenberg) and Gulf (Stennis-Michoud). Married 20 years, widowed, with an adopted daughter and a step-daughter. Am never far from water, can sail, drive, shoot, cook, bake, hunt, fish, do calculus, Ski, make beer, wine, mead, gunpowder, or a battery, can't spell, can't hardly swim but I can float a long time :-). Can build anything from a Rocket to a Desk (not very good on pretty-mostly functional, still working on style). Love to grow my own vegetables. Love the miracle of growing, would not know how to have a pretty garden, just glad when things grow. Love women and sex, still too young to stop. Love a good night out to see a show or stroll on the beach almost as much as a week in the woods or mountains. Don't smoke, well except for the rare cigar or pipe of tobacco. Don't gamble or do drugs, still drink but when I do I don't drive. I do vote but am not politically active. Lately just work or do things that I enjoy and work has not been enjoyable. Oh, I have two dogs and a cat and we share a four bedroom house.
