About Me: I'm a 46 y/o professional, working at a university... 'great place... I'm happy, mostly, except I met my now separated wife when I was 18, and we grew apart over the years... and now I find that I'd missed so much of humanity. I can't believe that I've been coming out at age 45, but that about sums me up. I had taken on snowboarding about 8 years ago, as part of a mid-life crisis, so to speak... and as with anything I get into, I am now a level 1 instructor at my local hill. I, as a person, endeavor to be much less steep of a curve in getting to know than a plank with straps on your feet. But don't be caught on your heels; I am spontaneous, creative and a team player, and my style is irreverent. I start and finish. I consider myself lucky and graced to be in the presence of a real woman, and I don't well know shyness, nor incredulity. My values are of considerable scope, and I understand that a vast greyness spans the inbetween black and white. I live in Wakefield, and I'm independent.
