About Me: I want to be clear from the start. I am married, but we haven't slept in the same bedroom for over 10 years...for now we stay together for our son...that simple. The result is that we both seek "adult" interaction and connection outside the marriage. If your reaction has been...'yeah right or not my cup of tea'...then I've saved us both some time. Having said that, I am "freer" to spend time away from home than married men that aren't in a similar situation. But I remain a parent, so I'm not relocating elsewhere (at least not for another 2 1/2 years). In the interim, I understand that sexual intimacy is not a one dimensional activity. Mental and emotional connection play an important role as well. Still, the compatible individual will understand that I will be spending the night in my home with my son more often than not for the time being. With that out of the way, I'll try to share a little more about myself. I am in my mid-late 40s and prefer someone reasonably close to my age. I have traveled extensively (lived in Spain, Mexico and Brazil) and have been to over 50 countries. In addition to English, hablo Espanol y /e falo Portugues. I don't travel as frequently now that I have left the corporate world; however, I still travel to visit international clients that I have developed in my private consulting practice. I generally feel most comfortable with people that share some of these experiences and higher education levels. I don't think of myself as assertive or submissive; rather, I just feel that I adapt well to the wishes of an intimate partner. If I "lean" one way or another, it would be toward the submissive side. Not that I could be a true sub, but I am open to adopting a submissive persona with a more assertive partner. (perhaps offsetting an Alpha persona outside the bedroom). I have never been with a male, but I have fantasized about it...mostly in a setting where a dominant female would be pleased to be directing "traffic".
