About Me: Let me introduce myself. My name is Paul, I'm a 44 year-old man with moderate Cerebral Palsy, living in Simi Valley. I had a stroke at birth which damaged the part of my brain responsible for controlling motor function; specifically: balance, coordination, speech and other fine motor skills. However, my body isn't disfigured in any way. I use a motorized wheelchair when in public. However, at home I get around on my knees. I'm a fit, athletic 5'9" 162lbs and keep my body in shape by weight training at our local Y.M.C.A. three times a week and cardio at home. I possess two college degrees and am currently writing a book based on my experiences mainstreaming into the Los Angeles public school system during the 60's, 70's, and 80's.
