About Me: I am a man with life experiences. I believe that a connection is important. I tend to be more on the thoughtful side always on the lookout for a better understanding of people around me, and life. I am probably an average to slightly better than average looking sort of guy depending on your tastes. And, while I am usually not the guy that most girls hit on, it has happened. Your first impression of me is likely to be that I am a bit distant, and a bit of a challenge, but that's really not necessarily the case once you understand me. I have an outgoing style and a very dry and somewhat cynical sense of humor. I can clean up pretty well, but I prefer jeans, cotton shirts and a leather jacket and though I’m not a heavy drinker, but prefer Jack Daniels to Martinis or Champagne. I am a truck guy. And, though I don’t own a horse and can ride with the best of them. At one time I worked as a cowboy and I am still one at heart. I hope you like to ride, or would like to learn. Like most guys I like sports but I don’t watch them constantly, only the few teams that I am interested in. I played football in high school and tennis in college. I enjoy going out (if you do). I like a good restaurant. I like to find the good lesser known out of the way places that most people haven’t discovered. I like to go to movies with substance or good entertainment value. I won’t go see a movie just because every body else is going. I can clean up and hold my own with most any one in any social situation whether a small group or society function. I enjoy dancing. I am a good dancer and I have some awards to prove it. In some social situations it may be hard for me to control my cynical side in the company of pompous or stuffy people. But, I promise to try not to embarrass you if we ever find ourselves in such a situation. I do like to get dressed up when the opportunity presents itself. Especially knowing that my date doesn’t have on any underwear.
