About Me: After a long career in New York and Chicago as a corporate strategist I settled down in Rockford to raise my daughter. I now work as a consultant and travel overseas regularly, hence being here. I’m physically fit and exercise often. I don’t smoke, but do enjoy an occasional glass of some ancient scotch or pinot noir. I adore being outdoors. I love horses and ride almost daily, and fence several times a week. I like to read, at times getting lost in a pithy novel, but mostly non-fiction. Art museums and galleries are a nemesis, always pulling me in. Musical tastes run the gambit, but I always seem to come back to jazz and Americana- country-rock-ish stuff. I consider myself very easy going and quite playful. When I am on my own I like to read or watch a movie by the fire with our little terrier curled close by. I enjoy a lingering dinner in a nice restaurant, but the last thing I want to be doing is sitting in some bar with the possible exception of a cozy pub on a blustery afternoon.
