About Me: I have had an adventurous life. I am healthy, physically fit, fiercely independent, well educated, retired and live comfortably. I traveled extensively, like exotic foods, love nature and animals. Am quite direct; I say what I mean and mean what I say. I value sincerity, honesty and a positive outlook. I am an avid reader and focus on political history, current politics and economic developments. I also like the classics. Aside from serious reading, I love to dance, play chess, hike in the woods, go camping, boating, picnics, attend opera, theatre and listen to music of 40's, 50,s and 60's. That includes big bands, R&B, rock & roll and some torch songs. Yes, I do have a very romantic side and am affectionate, romantic, passionate and sensual. I’m also easy to get along with. I cannot abide lies and deception. I love a good movie mystery, classic westerns, dramas and stories based upon actual events. I can be a gentleman, but can change rapidly, if abused.
