About Me: White, 40, unmarried guy with geekish tendencies and silly side. Definitely looking for a woman with a sense of humor as it is a big part of who I am. I don't think my sense of humor fits into any one category as I can be silly one minute and dry the next. I love to tease those that I'm fond of, but never in a demeaning way and I'm pretty self deprecating most of the time. I really don't mind making an ass of myself - just as long as I've got people with me to share the laughs. Usually I need to warm up to people before they see the "inner me", would likely be categorized as a wall flower, relatively shy, until I feel comfortable. However, once people get to know me, they probably wish I'd go back to being shy...lol. I think I was really blessed to have 2 pretty great role models growing up in my parents and believe I got a great mix of personality traits from them. My Dad was the strong silent type, with a great sense of values and very right-brained (high school Chemistry teacher), while my Mom gave me oodles of creativity and a sense of fashion (she dressed him daily!). All in all, I think I got the best of both worlds, the strong sense of what being a man is all about with the ability to listen and respond to other's needs. I'm relatively blessed intellectually, not necessarily bookwise, but just in general. I love being challenged mentally, especially in conversation. I'm someone who enjoys reading a lot of books, and really enjoy movies, especially the great ones from 40s & 50s. I'm clean, never had any diseases (hell, I don't think I ever had any diaper rash), and am willing to share additional naughty photos once I get to know people better.
