About Me: I am a retired professor and I have been single for approximately eight years. I have a doctorate degree but I really don't take myself too seriously when it comes to touting my accomplishments. While I do have an intellectual side, I am a realist when it comes to dealing with everyday living. I have a tremendous sense of humor and I believe that we pass through this life only once, and it is to be lived to its fullest. I am somewhat of a romantic but I also do not believe in viewing my partner as if she were my possession. I believe in allowing other people their space just as I expect to be allowed mine. I do not believe in platonic relationships because I believe that male/female relationships must also be rooted in a physical as well as an emotional base. When it comes to a physical relationship with a woman I definitely am not an uptight nor rigid person. When it comes to satisfaction in an intimate relationship, I believe that satisfying the female is the number one priority. In terms of my physical appearances I make no illusions of the fact that I am some thirty five year old person, nor do I hold out to be a Brad Pitt lookalike. Perhaps it is best to merely note that historically females have been attracted to me. I have grown babes and therefore I have the freedom to do pretty much what I choose to. Politically I tend toward the liberal side, however I do have some conservative characteristics. I never have done drugs, nor do I smoke, and while I believe that people should get high on life, I do not make judgements about other people's life style choices. While I believe in being honest with other people, I am not interested in getting involved with high maintenance females who are prone to high drama. Again I reiterate that sex is an extremely important dynamic and I am not on this site to cultivate platonic relationships, nor to spend inordinate amounts of time in chat rooms. Ultimately ,like others I seek happiness for everyone.
