About Me: I am well-educated, highly intelligent, generally optimistic, honest, steady, unassuming, and considerate, with an excellent sense of humor. I have no problem laughing at myself and never fail to find humor in the world around me. I enjoy a good joke, but am not much of a joke-teller. (Though be warned. I know a LOT of viola jokes.) I am tolerant, caring, and I listen well. I am inherently curious and generally interested in trying/learning new things. I tend to be casual, both in demeanor and dress, but can dress up when the occasion calls for it. Classical music is one of my passions and I expect it will always be a large part of my life. If you do not enjoy classical music, we're probably not a good match. While my primary interest is classical, I also like rock/pop and Eastern European folk dance music. In fact, there's very little music I actively dislike. (Though I can do without rap.) I am not a gardener, but I love plants, gardens, and wildlife of all kinds.
