About Me: Picture any one of these scenarios: It's 7:00AM. The city is asleep. You're not. Instead, you're running along the beautiful RIdeau Canal, headphones in your ears, taking in the crisp morning weather. You stop to catch your breath to take a look at the calm river. A moment later, you turn the music up and continue, invigorated by the thrill of running at top speed. The cinema smells of butter. You sit down five rows back from the screen, slightly to the right. You have the auditorium all to yourself. The lights dim, the surround sound comes to life at full throttle. You are immersed into the world on the 50 foot screen in front of you. When the lights come on, you have a goofy, gleeful grin on your face. The grin doesn't subside for the next hour. You're sitting on a log bench around a campfire. The lake nearby is still, and the stars have come out. A group of young, 10-year-old men sit around you, cracking jokes and reminiscing about the day. You rip open the bag of marshmallows and case of graham crackers. The men plead for the snacks, and you hand them along. Before you know it, their faces are smeared with smores. They smile at you and say thanks. The restaurant is loud, and the food has just arrived, but you don't even notice. You forget everything that's happened earlier in the day, and focus only on the amazing person across the table. You're trying to remember where this conversation started, but it's gone on so long that you can't. You're trying your best to taking in her beautiful eyes and warm smile, and you're succeeding wildly. You want to know what it will feel like when you lean across the table and kiss her. Running is the way I love to see the world. Movies are my passion. Being a camp counsellor is the job I have in the summer, and it's the greatest job there is. All three are part of what defines me. But there's something missing and it comes from scenario #4. I'm looking for someone who would be willing to share that with me.
